The Alchemist

These are some preliminary Sketches/studies for a personal project I am working on. The story follows the journey of a junior alchemist who ventures to a Mystical tree to obtain the ingredients needed to save his home. They are my first foray into doing relatively rough concept/mood illustrations. half painting, half photo-bashing.
